Teachspanish.com is about providing Spanish teachers with a place to interact with each other, share ideas, lesson plans, stories and anything else that will make your job easier and help you become a better teacher.

We also provide Spanish and English learners with the best teaching courses available on the market. These courses can be taken with or without one-on-one tutoring. These courses have been proven to be able to take a learner to about 85-90% proficiency in about 260 hours of interactive learning. We also offer customized Spanish refinement programs for teachers who need to improve their Spanish or pass a Spanish proficiency exam such as the Praxis exam.

We believe that having a bilingual country (English/Spanish) would make a big difference in people’s life and we are very passionate about helping every one who wants to become bilingual.

Who is Cecilia Sojo?

Cecilia is the owner of  teachspanish.com. She is the person who will give you personal attention to help you with your Spanish/ English teaching and learning needs. She has worked in the language field, teaching, writing, editing and consulting for over 14 years.

After having worked as an industrial engineer for several years in her native Costa Rica and having had a special interest in the Spanish language since she was in high school she moved to Atlanta, Georgia.  Within a few years she became a managing partner in a nationally respected language and cultural management training institute.  

Cecilia has now launched teachspanish.com with the belief that thousands of Spanish teachers across the country and in Latin America need a place they can confidently call “home.” She also believes there is a need to be able to offer highly customized programs for Spanish teachers in the United States, who need to refine their Spanish language skills or pass exams such as the Praxis. Of course, people who want to learn Spanish or English can also benefit from her expert and personal advice.

A personal note from Cecilia

I feel very passionate about sharing with teachers and students what I have learned and continue to learn in this field. It includes not just the language per se but also how to work with different kinds of people, backgrounds and learning styles.
